With version 0.10.26.2-1 and phonon-gstreamer-backend
versions 4:4.60really4.3.80-1, 4:4.3.1-5, or 4:4.2.0-2,
this package is implicated in causing major colorshifting
with KDE4 plasma video widgets. No other gstreamer
applications, including totem-gstreamer or dragon player,
are affected. In version 0.10.25-2 this issue does not
occur.
Bug was confirmed to be in the gstreamer0.10-plugins-base
package specifically and worked-around by using *.so files
from an ubuntu package of version 0.10.25-2 (original
debian package 0.10.25-2 is no longer available).
Overwriting files in /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10 with files
from that package restored proper coloration to videos
played in KDE4 plasma video widgets.

version 0.10.26.2-1 for the i386 architecture (broken)
and ubuntu package gstreamer0.10-plugins-base version
0.10.25-2 (working libs) for reference.
